The La Palina Goldie Laguito Especial is a highly coveted limited-edition lancero originally released on May 2, 2014. It marks the third vitola released in La Palina’s ultra-premium Goldie collection, a line created to honor Goldie Paley, the wife of brand founder Sam Paley.

The defining characteristic of the 2014 Laguito Especial—and the early Goldie series — is that every single one of the 25,000 cigars produced for the release was rolled by a single torcedor: Maria Sierra. Sierra was a legendary, Category 9 master roller who began her career in 1967 at Cuba’s famous El Laguito factory, where she was trained by Avelino Lara (creator of the Cohiba blend) and Eduardo Rivera Irizarri (Fidel Castro’s personal roller).

Sealed and kept at constant tempurature and humidity.
