La Gloria Cubana Serie R started the large ring, full flavor craze back in 1999. The trend-setting brand has charted a new course with the release of Serie R Esteli, named for its Nicaraguan roots. A brick and mortar exclusive, Serie R Esteli is a collection of large ring, full-flavored Nicaraguan puros, made from tobacco sourced from a string of unconnected, independent farms on the Jalapa mountainside. In a departure from its Dominican roots, Serie R Esteli is handcrafted in Nicaragua.

Serie R Esteli made Cigar Aficionado’s list of the Cigars of 2014. With a 91 rating, the magazine called the line “one of the best La Glorias in years.” This outstanding collection has been extended to include a Maduro offering created exclusively for brick and mortar retailers. Made with the same Nicaraguan-forward blend that won the brand critical acclaim, the new expression is wrapped in rich Connecticut Broadleaf to deliver a cigar that’s medium in strength, deep in sweetness, and brimming with leather notes and enticing spiciness.

**This brand has recently gone through artwork revision/modernization. We are still working our way through some stock with the previous design, so you may receive either. The cigars are the same, just the artwork on boxes and bands have changed.
