Crowned Heads is going back to its TAA exclusive roots with The Lost Angel 2023—it’s made by Ernesto Perez-Carrillo, who rolled the first TAA smoke for the Nashville company nearly a decade ago. “Our first TAA Exclusive was released in 2014, working with Ernesto, and we felt it was time to take it back to where it all began for us,” said Jon Huber of Crowned Heads. The standout part of the cigar is the wrapper, described as a dark, oily, sweet and rich leaf of hybrid Ecuador Sumatra. The binder is also from Ecuador, and the blend is Dominican, Mexican and Nicaraguan. It’s limited to a run of 1,000 boxes of 20.
