Fine dining and premium cigars share deep parallels – both are built on blending, craftsmanship, expertise, and a profound understanding of flavour. These synergies have long provided Davidoff with activation platforms to connect with aficionados.
Embracing this connection since 2005 with the Davidoff Tour Gastronomique cigar, the brand introduced its first official Chefs Edition in 2016 – a Limited Edition created with globally renowned chefs from Michelin-starred restaurants. With their exceptionally refined palates, they worked alongside Davidoff’s Master Blenders to craft a cigar of remarkable complexity and balance.
Following its success, Davidoff continued the series, with the last Chefs Edition launching in 2021 to high acclaim, earning 95 points from Blind Man’s Puff and 96 points from The Cigar Authority – solidifying its status as a sought-after collector’s item.
LIMITED EDITION 2025
In 2025, the highly anticipated fourth Chefs Edition will be unveiled, celebrating the innovative and pioneering spirit of Davidoff and five distinguished chefs from around the world with a total of eleven Michelin stars.
In addition, the blend features tobaccos from the White Band Collection, resulting in a cigar that is complex yet approachable, with a signature freshness – echoing the essence of the chefs’ culinary styles.

So, when five of the world’s foremost curators of fine dining lent their talent for tasting discernment to our team of cigar creators, unsurprisingly the result is something from the very top table of flavour.
The Davidoff Chefs Edition–PRESENTED BY THE FINEST PALATES IN THE WORLD
BLEND HIGHLIGHTS
While the blend includes signature tobaccos that can also be found in Davidoff’s iconic White Band Collection cigars, Davidoff’s Master Blenders went the extra mile to clearly elevate this blend in terms of taste and age.
Amongst others, the tobaccos include:
• Dominican San Vicente visus that was aged for 15 years
• Hybrid 98 (Dominican) that provides fresh lemon notes (highlighted also in the exciting Davidoff Year of the Snake Limited Edition 2025 blend)
• Dominican Piloto seco specially aged for 5 years in Yagua bales
• A Mexican binder
YAGUA AGEING
The Dominican Piloto seco filler tobacco undergoes an artisanal Yagua ageing process of five years. This traditional method involves carefully wrapping the tobacco in natural Yagua palm leaves, a palm tree native to Central and South America. The fibrous leaves allow for a more refined ageing that enhances the cigar’s smoothness, sweetness and complexity.
Every bale requires meticulous hand-wrapping and close monitoring. Because all Yagua leaves are locally sourced and the time-intensive nature of this process, production is limited. The Chefs Edition 2025 is the only Davidoff cigar featuring Yagua-aged tobacco to date.

Sauvignon Blanc, a green-skinned grape variety from Bordeaux, is celebrated for its bright citrus and tropical fruit notes. When paired with the Chefs Edition, the harmony is undeniable – the cigar’s floral, rosewood, and fresh spice accents complement the wine’s crisp profile beautifully. Furthermore, the wine’s lighter body ensures a balanced experience, never overshadowing the cigar.
THE CURATED SIP
The warm spice of a Virgin Moscow Mule – vibrant ginger, sweet cinnamon honey, and bright citrus – intertwines beautifully with the cigar’s complexity. Floral and creamy notes bloom on the palate, accented by hints of cayenne and coffee. The Mule’s zesty lime and aromatic orange bitters cut through earthy oak and leather tones, while the smooth honeyed sweetness softens the smoke’s intensity. A perfect balance of spice, warmth, and refreshing contrast.
Ingredients: Ginger beer, fresh lime juice, cinnamon-honey syrup,
orange bitters, ice. Fresh lemon slice and mint to garnish.

PACKAGING DESIGN INSPIRED BY THE CULINARY WORLD
Made from solid wood and featuring elements of luxurious white marble, this packaging not only exudes elegance, but also draws the relationship with gastronomy, creating a link between the world of fine cuisine and cigars.
The solid 100% natural marble stone resting in the lid is inspired by a kitchen chopping board. This nod to gastronomy not only reinforces the connection between the worlds of cuisine and cigars but also reveals a surprise when flipped: recessed grooves carved out of the wood ensure that the ten rare toro cigars remain in their designated spot in the box. Aficionados could therefore also use it to present
their cigars.
