The first of Willy’s cigar brands for Drew Estate, Herrera Esteli Habano achieved acclaim as Cigar Aficionado’s No. 8 cigar in its 2013 Top 25 Cigars of the Year listing and was the first Drew Estate cigar to make the list. Willy estimates that he tried as many as 75 different blend varieties, experimenting with a vast array of dark, air-cured tobaccos before constructing the final blend…a delicious result that “wowed” him and became Herrera Esteli Habano. Combining an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, Honduran binder and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos, Herrera Esteli Habano presents a medium-body and spicy smoking experience with notes of buttery nutmeg.
