Cote d’Or La Tache

Named for the famous French wine growing region where the Pinot Noir grape is grown – Cote d’Or, and for one of the most famous wines from this region – La Tache, this name draws on the similarities between the Pinot Noir grape and the Pelo de Oro tobacco in the blend. Both Pinot Noir and Pelo de Oro are temperamental and low yielding crops, but when they’re grown with the required finesse and care, impart an unmatched flavor and depth.
